SWEEPSTAKES IS OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES, WHO ARE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AS OF APRIL 1, 2008.

TO ENTER: Sweepstakes begins on April 1, 2008 and ends May 10, 2008 ("Promotional Period"). ALEC members who (1) open a new family account or (2) enroll for a payroll transfer or direct deposit into a child’s account between April 1, 2008 and May 10, 2008 will automatically be entered. Additionally, a member who deposits into an existing ALEC youth account during the ‘break the bank’ event on April 26, 2008, ALEC’s 2^nd Annual Youth Day will also automatically be entered. One entry will be given to the ALEC member for doing one of the above noted transactions. To enter without making a transaction: Hand print your complete name, street address (no P.O. Boxes), city, state, zip code, and the words "ALEC Youth Day Family Getaway Sweepstakes", day and evening telephone numbers and email, on a 3" x 5" card, affix proper postage and mail in a hand-addressed, business-size (#10) envelope to: " ALEC Youth Day Family Getaway Sweepstakes”, 401 N. Riverside Dr. Ste 1-A, Gurnee, IL 60031-5915. All entries must be postmarked by May 10, 2008 and received by May 17, 2008. Limit one entry per envelope. Opening a new family account, enrolling for a payroll transfer or direct deposit into a child’s account, making a ‘break the bank’ deposit into an existing ALEC youth account during the ‘break the bank’ event and/or submission of a mail-in entry constitutes your consent to participate in this Sweepstakes.

1. ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes is open to members who (1) open a new family account or (2) enroll for a payroll transfer or direct deposit into a child’s account during the Promotional Period. Additionally, a member who deposits into an existing ALEC youth account during the ‘break the bank’ event on April 26, 2008, ALEC’s 2^nd Annual Youth Day will be entered into the sweepstakes. If the account holder opening the new membership or making the deposit during the break the bank event is a minor, the parent or guardian will be entered into the sweepstakes on behalf of the minor. Limit one automatic entry per member. Employees of ALEC and their immediate families (spouse, parents, children and siblings and their respective spouses) and/or those living in the same household of such employees are ineligible for the sweepstakes. Void where prohibited by law. Sweepstakes subject to all applicable, federal, state, local laws and regulations.

2. RANDOM DRAWING: A random drawing will be held on or about May 19, 2008 from all eligible entries. Odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries received. Winner will be notified by mail and/or telephone. Winner need not be present to win. Prizes/award is nontransferable and no substitutions are allowed except by ALEC who reserves the right to award a prize of equal or greater value.

3. PRIZE & APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (ARV): Grand Prize (1): $350 Gift Certificate for Key Lime Cove Water Resort, Gurnee, IL (ARV: 350.00)  and 4 Individual Day passes to Six Flags Great America & Hurricane Harbor, Gurnee, IL (ARV: 226.56). Award dependent on number of new family accounts opened, new direct deposit/payroll transfers, new ‘break the bank’ deposits made and mail-in entries received during the Promotional Period.

4. GENERAL RULES: All federal, state or local income or other taxes, are the responsibility of the winner. All federal, state and local laws apply. All materials submitted become the sole property of ALEC and will not be returned. Winner must sign and return a Prize Acceptance Form and a Publicity Release within 10 days of attempted notification. Noncompliance within this time period may result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected. Signing and returning the Publicity Release constitutes permission to ALEC to use winner's name, photograph, and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Entrants agree to indemnify and hold harmless ALEC and all of their respective employees, directors, officers, and assigns (collectively "Releasees"), from any injuries, losses, damages, claims and actions of any kind resulting from or arising from participation in the sweepstakes or acceptance, possession, use, non-use or misuse of the prize that may be awarded. Releasees are not responsible for printing or typographical errors in any sweepstakes-related materials; lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, illegible entries or mail. If, in ALEC’s opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of the sweepstakes, ALEC reserves the right at their sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and void any entries submitted fraudulently, to modify or suspend the sweepstakes, or to terminate the sweepstakes and conduct a random drawing to award the prize using all transactions and write-in entries received as of the termination date.
